SWA is one of 14 regional Arts Boards (RABs) working throughout country NSW and serves the Local Government Areas of Balranald, Berrigan, Carrathool,
Conargo, Deniliquin, Hay, Murray, Murrumbidgee and Wakool. SWA is jointly funded by Arts NSW and contributions from our LGAs. The organisation employs a Regional Arts Development Officer/Executive Officer and a Communications and Projects Officer and is overseen by a Volunteer, Skills Based Board.
SWA is seeking a facilitator to lead a strategic planning session with Board and Staff which will be pivotal to determining our future direction for the next three years.
Project Details
Facilitate a one-day Strategic Planning Session, including the development of the session framework in conjunction with SWA's Board of Management. The result of the planning session will inform SWA's Triennial Plan/Funding Submission 2016-2018 to Arts NSW due June 1st 2015

Cleaner - Riverina Day Surgery

Riverina Day Surgery is Waggas newest health facility, opening on July 2014. It contains 3 operating Theatres and an IVF lab. It provides various surgical procedures: Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Cataract surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics and ENT.

We require the services of an experienced cleaner willing to work flexible hours according to the operating schedule. Hours will be early evening, averaging 3 hours per day.
The successful applicant will commence duties on 13th April 2015.

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated ability to organise work schedule and prioritise periodic cleaning duties, while demonstrating your ability to achieve high standards of work with minimal supervision.
2. Experience working as a cleaner is essential, experience working in a hospital environment and / or operating theatre desirable
3. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning practices that support the principles of infection control.
4. Demonstrated awareness of and commitment to safe work practices and chemical handling.
5. Demonstrated ability or willing to learn to operate commercial cleaning equipment.
6. Demonstrated understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity, WHS, quality improvement principles and ethical practices.
7. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, according to the operating schedule on the day.
8. Physically able to perform duties. Ability to perform high cleaning duties with the use of a step or normal ladder.
